Asher Rachel Julkowski is a creative, strategic leader and certified leadership coach with more than two decades of experience catalyzing organizations through pivotal moments of change. He helps leaders and teams thrive under pressure by cultivating open, dynamic spaces where they gain the psychological safety, creative energy, and strategic clarity to make their mission a reality. He joined PRG as an associate in Fall 2025.
At Stanford University, the University of Chicago, Brandeis University, Bertelsmann AG, and Sesame Workshop, Asher has been trusted to deliver high-impact initiatives and elevate team performance.
As Managing Director of Stanford Engineering’s Entrepreneurship Center, he advanced fundraising and business development, guided faculty and staff leadership transitions, helped embed applied ethics into entrepreneurship education, and re-energized stakeholders with a 25th-anniversary reboot. He also spearheaded content strategy and production for original podcast and video series that continue to power thousands of classrooms worldwide with engaging educational media.
At the University of Chicago, Asher served as Creative Director for Alumni Relations and Development and as multimedia lead for UChicago’s in-house creative agency. He co-developed and helped launch creative communications for major institutional priorities, including UChicago’s $5 billion capital campaign, major gift announcements, and the openings of new hospitals and residence halls. He also was part of the team to win the bid to bring the Barack Obama Presidential Library to Chicago’s South Side.
As Founder of Leadership Coaching with Asher Julkowski (www.leadershipcoachingwithasher.com), he partners with leaders and teams to help them thrive under pressure by focusing on three areas — energy and connection, values-based decision making, and team culture.
Asher earned a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University where he studied philosophy and creative writing, an M.A. from The New School in New York where he concentrated on media studies, and a certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from North Carolina State University. He also completed the Executive Program for Emerging Leaders at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. He is part of the teaching team for North Carolina State University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance program.
His work has been recognized with Emmys and Gold and Silver CASE Awards. Outside of coaching and consulting, he can be found diligently taking creative direction from his two young children on their plans for a zoo in space.
